Thekwini TVET College invites suitably qualified and experienced officials who are current employees of the College to apply for the following contract post.

1. Electrical Trade Test Moderator X1

    Unit: Skills Department    

    Ref:  Skills 2022/07/10

   Remuneration: R250.00 Per unit standard 

(The incumbent will be required to sign a service levy agreement (SLA) with the College)

Requirements: Matric or Equivalent ·   Moderator qualification (registered with NAMB under Thekwini TVET College) · Qualified Electrician (trade tested) ·1-year work experience in related field ·Good communication and interpersonal skills · Good record keeping of learner assessments · Deadline Driven ·  Work well under pressure · Pleasant and trustworthy · Ability to communicate effectively ( verbal and written )  in the two official languages IsiZulu and English ·   Interpersonal skills and teamwork ·Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines · Advance computer skills Ms Office ·  Valid and endorsed code EB drivers’ license (recommendation).
Key Result Areas: · To Moderate Trade testing of Electricians · To monitor fairness between the candidates and the Assessor ·To ensure all relevant evidence of Assessments is accurately and correctly documented for each learner · To Co-ordinate trade test quality
