NCV ROBOTICS LECTURER (PL1) X1
CONTRACT PERIOD: BALANCE OF 2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
CAMPUS: MELBOURNE

SALARY NOTCH: R281 319.00 PA, plus 37% cash in lieu of benefits.
Requirements: •Matric certificate or equivalent •Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Information Technology (Robotics) or Robotics engineering or in an engineering discipline (Electrical engineering, Industrial engineering, Mechatronics or other engineering related discipline) plus specialisation in Robotics or possess any of the NQF level 6 engineering qualifications listed above plus a minimum NQF level 5 training in robotics; or possess any of the NQF level 6 engineering qualifications listed above plus a minimum 12 months relevant work/teaching experience in Robotics; or possess a relevant minimum three year teaching qualification with a minimum of 12 months relevant teaching experience in FET phase or higher • Advanced Teaching Diploma in TVET / Post Graduate Diploma TVET / Diploma in Secondary or Higher Education .Valid SACE registration (not provisional registration) •Good Communication skills •Creativity and innovation •Adaptability •Problem solving skills •Team player •Values lifelong learning
Key Result Areas: •Conduct lectures and/or practicals for NCV students in Mathematics, L2-L4 and Robotics subjects using but not limited to Raspberry Pi and Arduino, coding in Python and C++, designing Robotics circuits using Fritzing and using simulator apps such as Wokwi. •Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subjects learning area of the students are conducted in a proper manner. •Assess, record, analyse and report the attainment of students •Management of student attendance, equipment and resources •Organize experiential training for students and perform any other duties as delegated and/or prescribed by applicable legislation, polices, manuals and guidelines, etc.
